Hello, welcome to my blog! I'm Gjanelli Manalastas. I'm in my early 20's. I was born and currently living in Philippines. I graduated in April 2014 and majored in Psychology. I don't have a job right now but i'm helping my father manage our travel agency. I handle the book of accounts, I write quotations and I do the graphic designs for our business. Why don't I have a job? I'm gonna talk about that in a blog post. 

ABOUT GJANELLI (A LIFESTYLE BLOG)

Gjanelli is a lifestyle blog. Lifestyle means "the way in which a person or group lives." In this blog, basically you can see how I live my life. I will share my life, travels, inspirations, what books I read, what movies I watch, what music I listen to and more personal matters. I consider this blog my journal. 

A LITTLE HISTORY

I've been blogging since 2012. I started blogging because I always wanted the idea of being a writer. I can never write a novel, I want to but I don't think I have the talent for it. So, here I am writing a blog instead. At least in this way, I can also write. Back in 2012, I had no idea what to write in my blog. I just wrote what I thought was good, that includes things in my life that really didn't matter at all. I was curious when a lot of famous people did it back then, so I did it, too, even if my posts were not sensible before. But I realized that I didn't want to be a famous influencer at all, I just want an outlet of my feelings. I tried to keep a journal before but I didn't have the patience to write long paragraphs/stories. I prefer to type than write, it's much easier for me. So, here I am. 

I can't even remember what my first blog name was. All I know is i'm an indecisive person so I changed my blog name a lot of times before. But I know i'm sticking to this one forever. It's my name and I like it. Sounds more real and authentic.
